Reactivity bills itself as "the leader in secure XML infrastructure." Now Gartner has decided that company does its job well enough to merit mention as a "Cool Vendor."
Announcing that Reactivity nabbed this honor in the area of enterprise network solutions in the XML infrastructure category, Gartner analyst Mark Fabbi noted "the necessity for networks to transcend application awareness and become application fluent."
"Reactivity has a long history of innovation and market-leading technology development, and we appreciate that our achievements have been recognized by Gartner," said Glenn Osaka, CEO and president of Reactivity. "As enterprises adopt XML Web services, Reactivity will continue to deliver 'cool' solutions to make their transition as painless as possible and position them for the future."
Gartner defines a cool vendor as a company that offers technologies or solutions that are: Innovative, enable users to do things they couldn't do before; Impactful, have, or will have, business impact (not just technology for the sake of technology); Intriguing, have caught Gartner's interest or curiosity in approximately the past six months.
